Interpreting
We offer real-time interpreting for conferences, meetings, and other live events, both on-line and in person. For virtual events we use platforms such as Interprefy, Kudo, Zoom, and Teams. We also offer options such as telephone interpretation, video remote interpretation (VRI), and other on-demand services.
Our team has experience interpreting in a broad range of contexts, including high-stakes international negotiations, large multilingual events, and sensitive legal proceedings. We prioritise respect, confidentiality, and sensitivity to context and culture in every assignment. Our role is to ensure that communication is precise, fluid, and accessible.
Our global network of vetted interpreters and suppliers enables to us provide an interpreting team with expertise in both source and target languages as well as the subject focus of your event. We can also supply technical support and equipment for an event of any size. Find out more
Does your project require simultaneous or consecutive interpreting?
In simultaneous interpreting, the speaker and the interpreter talk at the same time, with the interpreter lagging a few words or seconds behind the speaker. This format does not extend the length of the session substantially and is ideal for conferences, events, workshops, and lectures. For events with a larger group of target language users, we offer state-of-the-art interpretation equipment. Where a relay booth is not practical, our interpreters use only a transmitter and receivers, implementing chuchotage (whisper technique) to enable seamless interpreting.
For a smaller group, our interpreters are skilled in using techniques like liaison interpreting and chuchotage without devices.
In consecutive interpreting, the speaker pauses after every few sentences to give the interpreter time to translate. The listeners hear the speaker and then the translator. While the disadvantage of this approach is that it results in the session taking twice as long as the speaker’s actual delivery, it can be the most accessible option for interpreting by telephone, in meetings, and for some kinds of medical consultations, legal proceedings, and training sessions.

“Rawan’s proficiency in simultaneous interpreting has been a cornerstone of her success, particularly during high-end meetings with officials. … Her adeptness at navigating these critical interactions contributed significantly to the smooth facilitation of communications, ensuring that all parties understood the nuances of the discussions.”
Major General Dr. Mohammad Jibrini, Ministry of Interior, State of Palestine, 2024
“Mrs. Rania Filfil worked with us as a French translator during our training program on judiciary inspection for judges and prosecutors in 2021. Mrs. Filfil is very experienced, she has unique technical skills in translation. The quality of her work was highly appreciated by the participants and the French experts. Furthermore, she is a very dynamic, professional person able to work under pressure. Despite the difficulty of the subject, she was able to translate it in a way that makes everybody understand the content very clearly. Her communication skills are excellent and her determination to support the participants and the experts helped in conducting the training program successfully.”
Itaf Zahaykeh, Human Right Coordinator, SAWASYA II Program, United Nations Development Program, 2022
“Rawan Manna performed simultaneous interpreting services of the language combination Arabic and English over several workshops related to financial and budget issues. She performed these services very effectively to ta high level of accuracy, including providing portable receiver devices to facilitate effective one-to-one as well as small group communication exchanges simultaneously; using the whisper (chuchotage) technique while maintaining personal space and freedom to move throughout the hall all while providing clear and audible interpretation. Usually in such settings, the provision of interpreting is confined to liaison interpreting, which entails being physically located close to the interpreter given it is convenient for no more than two persons maximum. Ms. Manna’s technique proved to be very efficient as an alternative when it’s not cost effective to rent an acoustic booth if only a few people require interpretation. Her services were also outstanding in a large group setting, where Ms. Manna was able to provide top quality simultaneous interpreting of training delivery and question sessions for a group of up to 50 people over a period of two days (without the support of a second translator due to circumstances out of our control) yet without sacrificing the quality. That was a testament to her high levels of energy, flexibility, professionalism and skill.”
