RM Lingo offers consulting services and training across our range of language services and in research and logistics.

Consulting services

We consult on the design of in-person or virtual workshops, meetings, and conferences to ensure that the language, sound and audiovisual aspects support the full access and engagement of all participants, with consideration for their language competencies and hearing or visual impairments.

We also consult on the technical and contextual aspects of interpreting, translation, document design and publication, and multilingual audiovisual projects. Our team includes academic experts who consult on research and academic writing and publication. We also source expert consultants across a wide range of specializations for our clients.

Training

We have the capacity to help you build, train and equip an in-house interpreting and translation team. We have designed and facilitated training workshops for translators on the following skills:

  • interpretation skills
  • protocols for interpreting in official meetings
  • legal impact of translation
  • summary techniques

In 2023, we designed a training course for EUPOL COPPS interpreters and taught similar courses in Palestine, Turkey, Spain, and Sweden.

  • translation in the media
  • professional translation

We have run courses in leadership and communication in France, Spain, Sweden, Portugal, and Palestine – and also online.

What our clients have to say about our consultation and training services.

“During her tenure as a contractor with the USSC-ILC course, Ms. Manna has exemplified remarkable leadership and expertise, particularly in the recruitment, training, and mentoring of a team of seven language assistants. … Her ability to recruit and mentor her team was not just about filling positions, but rather about fostering a skilled cadre of professionals whose performance was consistently of the highest standard.”
